Trainers Sarah and Lynn Mullins offer personalized training in a safe, professional environment for equestrians of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to international competitors. Our focus is on developing skills that will help students win not only in the show ring but also in life. Our riders distinguish themselves not only by their high level of riding skills, but also by their respect for the horse, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Sarah was born into a horse family and has been riding her entire life.
Throughout her junior years, Sarah competed in and won multiple Hunter, Jumper and Equitation classes, many of which were on the young horses she helped to start and campaign. She rode successfully throughout her junior and amateur career, often catch-riding horses in regional and national medal finals with many top ten finishes.
In 2008, Sarah became a professional and joined the family business. At Meadow View Farms Sarah teaches, rides and shows. Her natural talent is put to work both at home and in the show ring with her ability to develop each horse’s unique strengths and prepare them for the show ring. When teaching, her straight forward approach, attention to details, and patience provide a setting for her students to learn and excel in an environment of trust and confidence.
The sport molded Sarah from an early age as she learned the care and training side of owning horses, allowing her to understand that it takes discipline, focus, desire, and hard work to be a good horseman. Her example, experience, and obvious passion for the horses and riding create an atmosphere of growing, learning and fun.
Currently, Sarah is serving as President of the Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association where she is working to further education and horsemanship among it’s members; always keeping in mind that it is the love of the horses that inspires us to step into the show ring.

Lynn became passionate about horses as a young girl, and she continues her dedication to the equestrian sport as an adult. Raised in California, she started riding at the age of 8 and showed extensively in the Junior Hunters, Junior Jumpers, and the Equitation Ring, winning several championships and medals. While still a junior rider, Lynn began buying, developing and selling young horses, many of which went on to have very notable show careers.
After taking a break from riding to attend college and start a family, Lynn began her professional career and now has over 25 years of teaching experience. She has coached many of her riders to victory in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation Rings. Her students have competed and placed in many regional medal finals and have won numerous year-end championships.
Lynn’s goal is to produce great riders as well as educated horsemen. Her positive approach to teaching focuses on cultivating a strong partnership and respect between horse and rider, and developing the character and skills that will help her students win not only in the show ring but also in life.
Giving back to the sport that has given her so much, Lynn holds her United States Equestrian Federation R-rated judge’s license in Hunter and Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation as well as an R-rated license in Hunter Course Design. Lynn travels throughout the country officiating at horse shows, and has served on numerous boards and committees governing our sport. Lynn is currently a USHJA Zone 10 Committee Member, and sits on the Board of Directors for Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association where she serves on both the Competition Standards and Structure committee, as well as the Member Education committee.
